Alfa Romeo Spider Italia Independent

The Alfa Romeo Spider Italia Independent is the Jose Mourinho of the Alfa family, “the special one”. It was first produced in 2009 and limited to a production run of 900 units. The car that has graced Mangoletsi with it’s presences in the last few weeks was produced in 2010 and is one of the last to come off the production line. Our car only has 6,500 miles and feels like new. The Italia Independent Spider was a joint venture between Italian design house Italia Independent and Alfa Romeo. The design house was founded by Lapo Elkann who is the brother of FIAT chairman John Elkann. They were a natural choice to team up with Alfa Romeo, and were asked to produce a limited editions of the companies Brera/Spider range. If you’ve seen one you’ll know exactly how good a job they have done!

From the off set the car is absolutely breath taking to behold, the exterior of the car is covered in “Stealth Grey” matte paint, it makes the car look like a weapon of urban warfare. The 18″ Turbine matte black wheels look mean and menacing wrapped in the Pinifarina wheel arches. The brake calipers even have Italia Independent logo embossed onto them. The interior is equally as cool, with the carbon fibre touches on the centre console and on the steering wheel. The use of new and interesting materials such as Kevlar,  DuPont’s Cordura, Gore-Tex is the general theme of things on the inside. The partnership they have with the sumptuous Poltrona Frau leather is amazing!

This week at Mangoletsi 21st – 25th of March 2011

This week at Mangoletsi Alfa Romeo was quite an interesting one we had a contest winner in the shape of Viccie Dougall and a new member of staff join us, Killian Roche, as well as the delivery of some really gorgeous new Alfa Romeo cars.

Let’s start at the begining, our very own Viccie Dougall has won the chance to record her very own single and have it release into the charts as well as on iTunes as a digital download. Viccie earned this fantastic oppurntunity by winning the Cheshire based talent competition “It’s My Time”. Viccie started with us here at Mangoletsi Knutsford in 2009 and has been part of the family ever since. Viccie, as she’s known to friends, graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a B.A. Hons in Acting, in July. All of us here wish Vicce all of the best and she needs all the support she can get, so get out there and download her single “Caught in the Crossfire” now!

This week at Mangoletsi we have been joined by a new member of staff, Killian Roche. Killian has come on board as our Digital Marketing specialist. Killian hails from the Emerald Isle and was born in Dublin. Killian has spent most of his time playing rugby up until now and is extremely proud to have joined our team here at Mangoletsi. With regards to the new cars that have arrived with us this week we’ve had several new Mito’s and couple of Giulietta’s join the other thorough bred Italian stallions we have here at Mangoletsi Alfa Romeo. One car in particular stand’s out and that is the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Cloverleaf that’s just come in. It is one stunning car and has to be seen in the flesh to be truly appreciated.
